I also aim to be only a couple of cabins away from an elevator/stairway to make it easier to move around the ship. Also purchase your pass for the adults-only Happy Hour Prohibition show when you get on board to secure your preferred time. This is not a drop-off kids club, it’s only a space made available to parents of babies and toddlers. On deck 5, suitably right next to the teen kids club, is the video arcade. Both of my girls had a lot of fun playing games in the arcade and earning tickets they redeemed for some Chuck e Cheese-esque prizes.

I can’t talk about the cabins on the Bliss without mentioning The Haven and telling you what it’s all about. The Haven is a private area on the top and front of the ship just for Haven cabin guests. It is an extreme luxury experience with a personal concierge and 24 hour butler. You’ll also receive priority boarding and priority reservations at the restaurants. The Norwegian Bliss had plenty to entertain its guests, but one of my favorites was the theater style shows onboard.

Often times, the ability to purchase wi-fi before a cruise is removed at about 48 to 24 hours before embarkation. Each of these shows can be identified as musicals and run a duration of about 70 minutes, a rather long time for a theater show onboard a cruise ship. The Norwegian Bliss highly recommends that guests make reservations in advance for these activities in case they fill up. For example, we made a reservation for later on in our sailing, on the embarkation day of our trip. At the time, the crew members said there was plenty of availability, and it seemed to stay that way throughout our trip. However, I do recommend making reservations for these activities as soon as possible on your next Norwegian cruise.
On Norwegian Bliss, guests can choose between 11 complimentary dining options. They can also experience new flavors at signature specialty restaurants, such as Le Bistro, La Cucina, Cagney’s Steakhouse and Bayamo by James Beard Award-winning chef Jose Garces. Norwegian’s signature specialty restaurants feature enhanced menus including favorite dishes and new tastes. I also enjoy that nearly every Norwegian Cruise Line ship has a Spice H2O. This unique space is designed for, and specifically caters to adult guests. Reserved for passengers 18+ years, guests can find a bar, hot tubs, lounge chairs, and a dance floor for nightlife experiences, all in a fun outdoor space.
